The former contestant of 'The X Factor' is sent to hospital and forced to pull out of concert following the scary collision that left his vehicle totally damaged.

AceShowbiz - Jaymi Hensley was reportedly rushed to hospital on Thursday, November 7 night after the Union J star was involved in a high-speed vehicle collision.

The singer was driving home after starring in the leading role in a stage production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Sheffield, England when his Mercedes crashed into another car and lorry at around 11:30 P.M.

According to sources, the former "The X Factor" star was left "shocked and sore," and was forced to cancel his performance in the musical on Friday after being told to rest by doctors at home.

"He's very shocked, sore and recovering - but thankful to still be here and not to have suffered any life threatening injuries," they told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper. "It was a very scary situation for him. He was travelling home from work and left in a dreadful state."

"His car has been written-off and he's no longer performing in tonight or Saturday's performance of Joseph on doctor's orders."

A spokesperson for the star added: "We can confirm our client Jaymi Hensley was involved in a car crash last night. Jaymi is thankful to the police and emergency services who attended the scene."

He is apparently planning to return to the stage show on Tuesday.
