AceShowbiz - Actress Camille Guaty has given birth to her first child after years of failed IVF (in vitro fertilisation) treatments.
The former "Prison Break" star and her husband, songwriter and producer Sy Rhys Kaye, welcomed a son named Morrison Rafael on October 5, her representative confirms to People.com.
The joyous occasion occurred six years after the couple began trying for a baby, only to struggle with fertility issues.
Guaty and Kaye soon started exploring IVF, and underwent five rounds of treatment - all of which failed to result in conception, until they experienced success with an egg donor.
The actress, 43, announced she was pregnant in August and admitted it was an emotional moment. "The day the nurse called to tell me I was pregnant, I burst out crying!" she told People at the time. "I made her say it to me four or five times. I feel so grateful now and can't wait to meet our son."
The couple wed in 2011.
