Ron Teigen and his wife Vilailuck have reportedly lived in separate houses from for quite some time before he finally started the process of divorcing her now.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen's parents are getting divorced.
The 33-year-old's father Ron Teigen has filed for divorce from her mother Vilailuck Teigen, according to People. The reasons for the split are as yet unknown, and Chrissy has not publicly commented on the news.
While the split is likely to come as a surprise to many, Ron actually hasn't lived with his wife for some time. In an interview with Us Weekly last year, "Cravings" cookbook author Chrissy revealed that her mum lived with her, husband John Legend and their two children, while Ron lived around 10 minutes away.
"So my mom lives with us. Everybody is like, 'Where's your dad?' " Chrissy told the publication. "He comes by every day and they're married. It just works for them. It's a good family life. We're all very close, very tight-knit."
