AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey has no intention to get back together with Nick Cannon and she makes it very clear. Last month, the TV host got fans riled up when he said that he would never get married again unless it's with the singing diva, who has responded to the remarks by fully shading him.

TMZ recently caught up with Mimi when she was having lunch in Beverly Hills. When asked about how she felt about Nick's recent comment, she quipped, "Remarrying? I'm glad I...," before stopping herself for a while. She then went on saying, "He's making this up. This is him being silly." The reported later asked, "Are you good with the single life the rest of your life, basically?" Seemingly having none of it, Mimi answered, "What is he, my last hope?"

Nick made the comment when he appeared in an episode of T.I.'s podcast series "ExpediTiously". As the two musicians talked about marriage, "The Masked Singer" host said, "I knew I would never get married again once I stepped away from that. That construct is not designed for me. I gave it my all because, even before, that, I didn't believe in marriage." He, however, added, "It was Mariah Carey. Whatever she say, I'm with it! If I'ma marry somebody, I'ma marry her."

He later clarified the comment when stopping by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" as saying, "Honestly, I said I would probably never get married again because I'm still working on myself and trying to become a better man. That's what I said."

"But if I had to, I already know what that's like; I would go back home first before I had to do it again," he continued. "You know Mariah, she's fine, everything's happy. We have an amazing co-parenting relationship, our kids are so happy. It's calm waters let's just keep it that way. Keep it calm."
