The legendary musician who co-founded the British rock band Cream with Clapton and Jack Bruce is confirmed to have died in a hospital on Sunday, October 6.

AceShowbiz - Famed British drummer Ginger Baker has died aged 80.
Baker, who found fame with Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce in the band Cream, passed away in hospital on Sunday morning, October 6, with a statement on his Twitter page confirming the news.
"We are very sad to say that Ginger has passed away peacefully in hospital this morning," the post read. "Thank you to everyone for your kind words over the past weeks."
The rock band only survived for three years due to Baker’s volatile relationship with Bruce, but they remain one of the most influential bands of all time, with hits including "I Feel Free", "Strange Brew", and "Sunshine of Your Love".
The star's family revealed on 26 September he was "critically ill in hospital," writing on Twitter: "Please keep him in your prayers tonight."
Baker revealed in 2013 he was suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease due to years of heavy smoking, and underwent open-heart surgery back in 2016 in relation to the condition. He was also suffering from chronic back pain from degenerative osteoarthritis.
He is survived by his three children, Ginette, Leda and Kofi.
