AceShowbiz - Heidi Klum has filed a legal petition to change her last name after marrying rocker Tom Kaulitz.
The supermodel tied the knot with the Tokio Hotel guitarist in February and now she is taking the next step in their union by formally adopting her new husband's family name.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Heidi has asked the courts to be officially recognised as Heidi Kaulitz, citing "marriage" as the cause for the petition.
Her name change request has yet to be granted.
The model and the musician wed after a year of dating.
Klum has previously been married to singer Seal and Ric Pipino.
