The 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' star bares all on the cover of the magazine's October issue, where she talks about how her parents' addiction issue ruined her childhood and overcoming her own.

AceShowbiz - Demi Moore is comfortable in her own skin at 56 years old. The actress strips down to her birthday suit on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's October issue, which features the headlines "Be Your Best at Every Age" and "Look Better Naked".

The mother of three wears nothing but a hot pink Lynn Paik hat and Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet while she poses on the poolside. She places her hand strategically to cover her breasts and flashes a smile to the camera. Her long is styled in loose waves and falls down around her back and shoulders.

Sharing the shot on Instagram, she captioned it, "Baring all for the October issue of @harpersbazaarus Photos by @marianovivanco." She also posted a photo from the magazine's spread featuring her wearing a glamorous black Dior Haute Couture dress, Cartier bracelet and ring, and Sergio Rossi sandals.

In an interview with the publication, Demi chats with her friend and former "Girls" star Lena Dunham about "her dysfunctional childhood, past loves and overcoming addiction." Demi recalls how witnessing her mother's overdose ruined her childhood's innocence.

"The next thing I remember is using my fingers, the small fingers of a child, to dig the pills my mother had tried to swallow out of her mouth while my father held it open and told me what to do," she shares. "Something very deep inside me shifted then, and it never shifted back. My childhood was over."

Giving insight to her upcoming memoir "Inside Out", the "Ghost" star talks about losing her pregnancy at 42 years old during her marriage to Ashton Kutcher. "She had started drinking again and blamed herself for the loss," Lena writes. "Moore and Kutcher married in 2005 and pursued fertility treatments in hopes of getting pregnant again. But her drinking worsened, and she started abusing Vicodin, all before learning that Ashton had cheated on her." They announced their split in 2011 and got divorced in 2013.

Demi's own journey to sobriety wasn't a smooth one. The "G.I. Jane" actress got sober in her 20s, relapsed in her 40s, and got clean again in her 50s. "In retrospect, what I realized is that when I opened the door (again), it was just giving my power away," she explains.

She continues, "I guess I would think of it like this: It was really important to me to have natural childbirth because I didn't want to miss a moment. And with that I experienced pain. So part of being sober is, I don't want to miss a moment of life, of that texture, even if that means being in... some pain."

Demi then praises her daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis, for "an opportunity to start to change the generational pattern. To be able to break the cycles..."

Demi's memoir "Inside Out", which excerpt has been released by The New York Times, will hit the shelves on September 24.
