The two stars, Lea Michele and Vanessa Hudgens took to social media on Wednesday, September 11 to mark the sad occasion by paying tribute to the lives lost on America's darkest day, back in 2011.

Cabello told fans that September 11, 2001 is a day "we will never forget" via her Instagram Story, while Witherspoon echoed the sentiment under a photo featuring a field of American flags.
