AceShowbiz - Despite all the messy drama leading up to Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's split, her family apparently still maintains a good relationship with the basketball player. Kim Kardashian proved it out on Monday, September 9 by heaping praises on him through a Twitter post.
Kim wrote on the micro-blogging site, "Tristan is a really great dad," along with a sparkling emoji. She could be referring to the season 17 premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", in which Tristan was seen attending True Thompson's first birthday party at Khloe's home.
Although the KKW Beauty owner had nothing but good words for the Cleveland Cavaliers star, her devotees begged to differ. Following the tweet, many immediately trolled her for saying such a thing because in their opinion, Tristan has yet to show his qualities of being a good dad. Instead, he had been showing people his bad side.
One pointed out, "Tbh if he was that good of a dad he wouldn't have cheated and ruined his little family," as someone speculated that Kim had been hacked. Another sarcastically chimed in, "Yeah because we all know a guy who have two kids from two different women and can't be responsible enough to even commit to one of them but instead of that he cheats on them and creats (sic) a broken household for his kids is just really a great dad."
One other simply expressed his/her disagreement with a GIF of a scene on"Insecure", on which Jay Ellis' character Lawrence Walker could be seen saying, "You got jokes, huh?" There was also a person who told Kim to "BLINK TWICE IF KRIS [JENNER] IS MAKING YOU TWEET THIS."
Tristan and Khloe broke up earlier this year after she was caught kissing Jordyn Woods at a party behind the Good American Jeans founder's back. They share a daughter, True Thompson, together, while the Canadian athlete also has a son named Prince with his other ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig.
