AceShowbiz - "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" finally returned with its season 17 on Monday, September 8. The premiere saw Kim Kardashian stressed out as she seemed to be about to receive bad news from her doctor after she underwent a blood test to determine the cause of some painful physical symptoms she'd been dealing with for some time.
The KKW Beauty founder had experience swollen joints, headaches, general fatigue. She was waiting for the results when she got a call from Dr. Daniel Wallace. "Your antibodies are positive for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis," the doctor told Kim, before listing a handful of the illnesses' corresponding side effects.
However, the doctor assured her that these test results alone couldn't confirm if one really has the disease. "Sometimes you can get false positives in these screenings," he said. Dr. Wallace then suggested for a follow-up appointment.
Although they need to do more tests, Kim couldn't help but freak out. Sister Kylie Jenner said to Kim, "You don't know. That's the scariest part, is you just don't know." Meanwhile, momager Kris Jenner urged her children to "stay really positive until we get some results."
That didn't stop Kim from feeling anxious. "You know, you really do get in your head and think about the worst possible things that can happen," she shared. "So, for the next few days it's gonna be really hell…living, wondering what I have, what's going on and how to fix this."
Elsewhere in the episode, Khloe Kardashian revealed that Tristan Thompson tried to kiss her at their daughter True's first birthday party. The Good American Jeans founder recalled the moment they reunited for the first time in public after their split. Admitting that it was "pretty awkward," Khloe told her assistant, "He was just kind of lingering … He was like, 'So, do you want to grab a glass of wine?' ... And then he said, 'Can I have a hug?' " Khloe revealed she said, "yeah!" because she thought only one hug but then Tristan allegedly tried to kiss her.
"I go, 'This is the problem with you. You can't just take what you get,' " Khloe continued. "Then this morning he was like, 'Thank you for letting me see True. She looked great, you looked even better.' … Sometimes I feel like if I give an inch, he'll take a mile and take my kindness for weakness."
In the episode, Khloe also said that the Cleveland Cavalier player attempted to patch things up between her. "Tristan thinks people are disposable -- if he sends me enough flowers or enough text messages, I'm going to come around," she shared of Tristan, who was previously caught kissing Kylie's former best friend Jordyn Woods. "I still have not spoken to Tristan face-to-face and right now, I am not ready to. I know I'll get to that place, but right now it's really challenging and tough for me. My feelings are super raw and I am really humiliated and hurt by what he did to me."
