Twelve years after turning down the offer to host the sketch show, the 'Carnival Row' actor feels he is now up for the challenge and urges creator Lorne Michaels to get back in touch with him.

AceShowbiz - Orlando Bloom turned down the chance to host sketch show "Saturday Night Live" because he feared his dyslexia would let him down.
The movie star reveals he was offered the gig back in 2007, but he felt pressure to pass on the opportunity because he worried about ruining take after take on the live show by messing up his lines.
"(It) was partly my dyslexia, partly, like, that window of time where I couldn't even... think straight and see the wood through the trees," the actor told radio host Howard Stern.
"You've got to read and then also... I didn't have perspective."
But Bloom is urging "SNL" boss Lorne Michaels to get back in touch with him, because he feels he's up to the challenge a decade later. "I would love to (host) 'Saturday Night Live' now," he explained.
The new season of the show begins with Woody Harrelson as host on September 28. This year's hosts also include Eddie Murphy and "Fleabag" creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
