AceShowbiz - Former U.S. vice presidential wannabe Sarah Palin and her husband Todd have split after 31 years of marriage.

Todd filed for divorce from the ex-Alaska Governor on Friday, September 6, citing "incompatibility of temperament between the parties", according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Todd is seeking joint custody of the former couple's youngest child Trigg. Their other four kids are all adults.

Republican Sarah was elected as Governor of Alaska in 2006. She joined late Senator John McCain's ticket as vice president.
