AceShowbiz - Keith Urban has purchased a luxurious beachside apartment for his mother Marienne in Queensland, Australia.
The "Kiss a Girl" hitmaker, 51, snapped up the $694,900 (£567,828) unit, which is located just metres from the beach in the suburb of Maroochydore. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a two-car garage and stunning ocean views.
The apartment has an open-plan design and floor-to-ceiling windows, and the complex boasts its own pool, BBQs, a gym, library, and even a herb garden for residents to share.
It's also close to Marienne's former home in Mountain Creek, where she lived with late husband Bob, who died in 2015 after a long battle with prostate cancer.
A local resident told the Australian Associated Press: "It is a friendly place, very neighbourly."
"All the residents look out for Marienne because we all know she's been through so much in the past few years... We all know she's the mum of a superstar but she gets treated just like anyone else."
