Should he land a role in James Gunn's DC Comics production, filmmaker Taika Waititi can be expected to appear alongside the likes of Nathan Fillion, Steve Agee, Idris Elba and Flula Borg.
Filmmaker Taika Waititi is reportedly set to step in front of the camera to join the cast of "The Suicide Squad".
According to Deadline, the "Thor: Ragnarok" director may trade the Marvel Universe for James Gunn's DC Comics production, which serves as a follow up to 2016's "Suicide Squad".
Nathan Fillion, Steve Agee, Idris Elba, and DJ and comedian Flula Borg have already signed on to join original cast members Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman for the new film.
Meanwhile, Waititi recently confirmed he will be back behind the camera for the next "Thor" film, which will introduce Natalie Portman as the Mighty Thor.
