The 'Zeze' rapper has been charged with falsifying information on federal forms to purchase three firearms among other crimes following his arrest at a Miami music festival back in May.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Kodak Black has pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges that could land him behind bars for up to eight years.

The troubled hitmaker, real name Bill K. Kapri, previously pleaded not guilty to the counts but changed his tune in Miami Federal Court in Florida on Thursday, August 22.

In May, he was charged with falsifying information on federal forms to purchase three firearms, among other crimes. A weapon purchased by the rap star was reportedly found at the scene of a South Florida shooting.

The "Zeze MC" was arrested shortly before he was set to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami on 11 May, and he was subsequently indicted. He has been behind bars ever since.

A federal judge denied his request for bail, insisting he was a danger to the community.

Black is also facing drug, weapons and sexual assault charges in other states.
