Noting in the footage that Gonnyi has since died, the 'Peppermint' actress details that the pet chicken 'suffered a prolapsed rectum and another undetermined mass in her nether regions.'

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner is mourning the death of another pet chicken.

The "Dallas Buyers Club" star had to let Gonnyi go after realising the egg-layer was suffering from a prolapsed rectum.

Garner posted video on Instagram of the unlucky clucker's last trip to the animal hospital, and said, "I've got to get Gonnyi to the hospital, quick. I've never been a chicken, but I know this isn't right. Part of her insides are coming out in the wrong way. This is not what the Lord had in mind for this chicken."

Addressing Gonnyi, Jennifer adds, "I'm sorry, sweetie. It's a rough day."

"Gonnyi suffered a prolapsed rectum and another undetermined mass in her nether regions," she posted at the end of the video. "She will be dearly missed but is resting peacefully."

"RIP Gonnyi. Yesterday we said goodbye to our sweet Olive Egger, Gonnyi. Thanks to my daughter’s consistent loving care, this chicken lived a very good life."

In April, Garner lost another pet chicken when Regina George died of natural causes.
