The 'Jersey Shore' star is facing backlash after she posts on Instagram a picture of her sipping on a glass of red wine while holding her baby Angelo, who is drinking from a bottle of milk.

AceShowbiz - It's only been two months since Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi gave birth to her third child, but she's already been targeted by mom-shamers. The MTV personality was put under fire after she posted on Instagram over the weekend a photo of her feeding Angelo while drinking wine.
In the photo, Snooki was seen sipping a glass of red wine while holding the baby boy, who was drinking from a bottle of milk. "What's mom life like with 2 kids and a newborn? THIS. #MomJuice," the "Jersey Shore" star wrote in the caption, stressing that she's a good mom with a hashtag that read, "I'm a good mom I swear."
Several of her celebrity friends were heaping praises for the mother of three, including Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wife Lauren who said, "This is a skill," and Jessie James Decker who could relate to her. But not everyone was impressed by the photo, with one user reminding Snooki that "you not suppose to drink alcohol if you breastfeeding your baby."
Obviously, Snooki would not just let the user badmouth her and clapped back almost immediately. "You're not a mom," she said. "I allow myself to have a few glasses once a week to stay sane with 3 kids. I do what's necessary to clean my milk for my baby. Let a mawma live and keep being 17."
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, moderate alcohol consumption isn't harmful to babies, especially if the mother waits at 2 hours after a single drink before breastfeeding. However, mothers are also advised not to drink too much because it can be damaging to the infant's development, growth and sleep patterns. It can also interfere with the milk ejection reflex that could lead to shortened breastfeeding duration due to decreased milk production.
