AceShowbiz - It seems like Jenelle Evans will return to the small screen anytime soon. The star, who was fired from MTV's "Teen Mom 2" after husband David Eason's dog-killing scandal, is said to be preparing for her own show and the filming is currently underway.
"She's let it be known that she's planning to have her own show," a "Teen Mom" insider reveals to HollywoodLife.com. "She's been filming her life during this custody battle because she feels that's the only way to get her truth out there."
It remains to be seen where the new project will air. However, the insider noted that "it's not going to be on MTV."
MTV announced that Jenelle had officially been fired from the show on May 7. "MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of 'Teen Mom 2' with him since," a spokesperson for the network said in a statement. "Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season."
Jenelle has just regained her custody of her kids after losing it temporarily following animal cruelty allegations against David. Her custody was reinstated on Wednesday, July 3, and recent reports stated that the Columbus County Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday, July 11 that David wouldn't be charged for killing the dog because evidences indicated that "the allegations of animal cruelty were fabricated."
Sharing her side of the story, Jenelle accused police of lying about many things. "I never made a report against David in the first place," she claimed. "The cops called me and left me voicemail asking me to call them back about the 'dog incident.' "
The 27-year-old said it was the police who first suspected it was a publicity stunt, but she allegedly told them, " 'Yes, what you heard is true about my dog. This isn't a publicity stunt and I'm not sure where my dog is or what happened to my dog but you would have to call David and ask. I was inside my house with my kids when David went outside with the dog.' "
