Originally set to officiate Jax Taylor's wedding to Brittany Cartwright in late June, 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star has been forced to pull out due to the sudden death of her mother.

AceShowbiz - Lance Bass has stepped in to officiate reality TV star Jax Taylor's wedding, after his "Vanderpump Rules" castmate Lisa Vanderpump was forced to pull out of the ceremony following the death of her mother.

Taylor will exchange vows with Brittany Cartwright on 29 June and the 'NSYNC star has been asked to fill in for Lisa, who has dashed back to her native Britain to help plan her mother's funeral.

A source told E! News, "Lance Bass was asked to officiate the wedding due to Lisa having to fly back to the U.K. to deal with her family matters. Lisa has told Jax and Brittany that it's unlikely she will attend their wedding and arranged for Lance to fulfill the duties."

The wedding will reportedly take place in the bride's home state of Kentucky.
