Twenty five years after the former NFL star was accused of murdering her brother, Kim Goldman launches a 10-part audio series, titled 'Confronting: O.J. Simpson', in a bid to gain some closure.

AceShowbiz - The sister of the man O.J. Simpson was accused of murdering is revisiting the headline-grabbing case for a new podcast.

The former American football star-turned-actor was sensationally acquitted of the 1994 killings of his wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman following what was dubbed The Trial of the Century.

Now Ron's sister, Kim Goldman, is re-examining the case for a new 10-part audio series, titled "Confronting: O.J. Simpson", in a bid to gain some closure by interviewing those closely involved in the case, including investigators, jurors, witnesses like Kato Kaelin, and prosecutors Marcia Clark, Christopher Darden, and Bill Hodgman.

"I think for all these years it's been a little frustrating that there's been so much about this case that is made, all the television series and the fictional approaches, that I thought it was important to go right to the source," she told U.S. breakfast show "Good Morning America".

"These are people that lived a very similar lifestyle that my dad and I did in very different directions (sic) and I wanted to understand how they were doing, what they were thinking, how they've lived their life, how they function in the aftermath of all of it..."

"Confronting: O.J. Simpson" premiered on Wednesday, June 12.

Simpson's 1995 trial was most recently dramatised by TV guru Ryan Murphy for 2016's "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story", which starred Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson, Sarah Paulson as Clark, and Sterling K. Brown as Darden.
