AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has finally given fans a closer look at her newborn son Psalm West. She took to both Twitter and Instagram on Monday, June 10 to share the new photo, mixing the baby boy's name and his father Kanye West's in the caption of the post.
"Psalm Ye," so the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star wrote alongside the photo that saw baby Psalm sleeping soundly in a white onesie as he was surrounded by a plaid blanket.
Many of her Instagram followers have flooded the comment section with gushing messages. Her best friend Malika Haqq simply dubbed Psalm the "sweetest," while Lil' Kim left a heart-eyed cat, a red heart and red lips emoji. Kimora Lee Simmons wrote, "Yayyy!! Welcome to the world baby boy!!"
Kim announced the arrival of her fourth child with Kanye via social media on May 10, writing, "He's here and he's perfect!" The KKW Beauty founder also dished that her little bundle of joy looked exactly like her third child, Chicago West. Kris Jenner then revealed that the couple took the Book of Psalms in the Bible as the inspiration for the boy's name.
Kim shared the first photo of Psalm on Mother's Day, though she received some backlash due to the way the baby was wrapped up in the crib in the photo. "This is how NOT to put your baby down to sleep," one commenter wrote. "The snuggle pot should not be used in a cot and at night time. The baby should not be over-wrapped... There should be NO cot bumpers!!!"
"Everything about this picture causes me anxiety. Please follow safe sleep habits. It can reduce the risk of SIDS," one other said as another user, who claimed to be an emergency-room physician, warned against "all that unnecessary padding."
Kim was apparently aware of the negative comments that she received as she deleted the picture shortly afterward.
