AceShowbiz - All the winners at the 2019 CMT Awards have been announced. Carrie Underwood came out as the biggest winner as she took home two prizes during the live ceremony which was held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 5.
The "American Idol" alum beat out the likes of Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris for the coveted Female Video of the Year, which she won for the visuals for her single "Love Wins". Additionally, she nabbed the biggest honor of the night, Video of the Year, for "Cry Pretty" music video. With that, she extends her run as the most decorated act in the history of CMT Awards.
Other winners at this year's ceremony included Kane Brown, who brought home Male Video of the Year for "Lose It" music video as well as Dan + Shay who notched Duo Video of the Year for two years straight thanks to their "Speechless" visuals. As for the Group Video of the Year, it went to Zac Brown Band's "Someone I used to Know" music video.
Taking the stage to accept their trophy, frontman Zac Brown delivered a strong message for the group's haters. "We're so grateful and we get our award every night when we [perform for our fans]," he said. "This award is for all of you, my band all the outsiders that waited through everyone's doubts. For you young artists, have courage to stand up against the machine." He concluded his speech by telling haters to "f**k off."
Also among the winners at the annual country music event that night were Ashley McBryde and Keith Urban. While the former took home Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Girl Goin' Nowhere (at Marathon Music Works)", the Australian singer-songwriter notched Collaborative Video of the Year for "Coming Home" featuring Julia Michaels.
