AceShowbiz - Some people just couldn't forgive Khloe Kardashian for promoting a diet product that many consider dubious. Weeks after actress Jameela Jamil attacked the reality TV star for her Instagram post that backed the Flat Tummy Co.'s new line of shakes, words of Khloe's controversial ad have reached those overseas and prompted a response from model Vogue Williams.
The Irish beauty, who has a close connection to the British royal family through her marriage to Pippa Middleton's brother-in-law Spencer Matthews, recently slammed the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star for endorsing the detox teas and shakes which contain laxatives. "I saw Khloe Kardashian pushing a flat tummy shake but those shakes have got laxatives," the 33-year-old told The Sun. "I hate all that s**t. It's dumb and dangerous."
The fitness fanatic went on suggesting healthier ways to lose weight, "If you want to try to tone up or lose weight, the only way to do it is to up your exercise and start eating a little more healthily." Having experienced the bad effect of dieting, Vogue shared, "I don't believe in dieting. I did a juice diet years ago and that made me sick."
Having given birth to her first child, a son in September 2018, Vogue also answered the question that people often asked to her. "Loads of new mums have asked me how I lost the baby weight but I didn't put that much on when I was pregnant," so she claimed, before adding, "I trained every single day, from seven weeks into my pregnancy. I wanted to do some spinning on the day I gave birth but I had to be induced at 6 A.M. so the doctors wouldn't let me."
As every woman's body is different, Vogue urged fellow moms and pregnant women to be nicer to themselves. "I'm lucky. I have worked out all my life, so my body has great muscle memory. But for other women it can be much more difficult, and I think we all need to be much nicer to ourselves," she said. "There is always time to get your figure back. We don't need to be back to our best within six months or a year."
Vogue's advice on losing weight aside, Jameela previously schooled Khloe for not doing enough research before promoting the detox shakes. "If you're too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probably chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product... And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren't healthy... Then I guess I have to," wrote "The Good Place" star in the comment of Khloe's post.
She listed "cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration" among the symptoms those who try the shakes might experience. "It's incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance," the British actress added. "That's the media's fault. But now please don't put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt. You're a smart woman. Be smarter than this."
