28-year-old Jake Rutger Hanson has been detained by Napa City Police Department after he tried to re-entering the festival grounds while under the influence of a controlled substance.

AceShowbiz - A man who forced singer Madison Beer to cut short her set at the BottleRock festival in Napa Valley, California on Saturday, May 25 has been arrested.

The 20-year-old was midway through a cover of Radiohead's "Creep" when a man in the crowd appeared to pull out a firearm. As the star walked to the side of the stage, she could be heard asking: "What's going on?"

Officials from Napa City Police Department have since confirmed to TMZ.com the perpetrator was later detained after he returned to the festival the following day.

Law enforcement sources told the website 28-year-old Jake Rutger Hanson was arrested Sunday just outside the festival grounds, after police officers were called to another disturbance. They claim that when they arrived Hanson displayed signs of being under the influence, and they subsequently found drug paraphernalia on him.

The concertgoer was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, as well as for possessing paraphernalia, and prohibited from re-entering the site.

Following the incident, the "All Day and Night" singer took to Twitter to assure fans she was OK, writing: "I'd like to inform everyone that I am in fact fine and no one, including me was injured and the man was taken out / no real weapon was found."

Madison Beer assured her fans that she was OK following the gun scare.

"We should all continue to be diligent when attending music events / events of any kind and report anything we feel is suspicious without hesitation," she continued. "Concerts should be a safe place for us to enjoy music together."
