A spokesperson for the Hollywood theme park claims that the new ride will 'feature an original storyline that will take guests on a breathtaking excursion' as depicted in the film.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are reprising their "Jurassic World" characters for a new ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood.

The co-stars will join B.D. Wong for a new storyline linked to the attraction, which opens this summer.

Fans taking Jurassic World - The Ride will meet the actors' characters, Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, and Dr. Henry Wu, who will "shed light on their interactions with the dinosaurs along with facts and information about the imposing prehistoric creatures that first roamed the earth more than 65 million years ago", according to a press release.

"This marks the first time the cast will appear as their iconic characters outside of the 'Jurassic World' films for a themepark attraction," a Universal spokesperson tells WENN.

"This spectacular new ride will feature an original storyline that will take guests on a breathtaking excursion through the themepark, as depicted in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment's film, 'Jurassic World'."
