It arrives after reports of David being under ongoing investigation by Animal Control and Child Protective Services after he shot Jenelle's French bulldog to death nearby his home.

AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans' future on MTV's "Teen Mom 2" is uncertain. A new report suggests Jenelle is desperately trying to save her job following her husband David Eason's controverial act against her dog Nugget, which he mercilessly shot to death.

Radar Online reveals that after a year of terrifying gun-related incidents, production crew and executives are mulling over her firing. "MTV execs have been talking about firing Jenelle as early as this week," says a show source to the news outlet.

"The crew and staff refused to come to North Carolina," the source adds. "No one was filming with Jenelle in North Carolina because they were too afraid of David."

However, the mother of three will not just stay silent without a fight as she's said to be begging the network to film with co-star Briana DeJesus in Florida. "She begged MTV to let her film with Briana again in Florida and they shut her down," according to the source.

The source goes on revealing that "Jenelle was told that MTV would not pay for her to go to Florida and they weren't filming her with Briana." The source adds, "Jenelle was worried that she was getting fired when she had no filming scheduled."

"She asked MTV if she could at least film with Briana before David killed her dog," the source continues. "It was about one or two weeks before David killed the dog."

Previous report said that Jenelle's firing from the show was in talks when it was revealed that David killed Nugget after the dog allegedly hurt his and Jenelle's daughter Ensley. It was also reported that David is under ongoing investigation by Animal Control and Child Protective Services after someone called the Columbus County Department of Social Services in North Carolina, alleging the children in the couple's home could be in danger.

The caller believed the children, including the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, and the MTV star's two sons from previous relationships, Jace, 9, and Kaiser, 4, could develop PTSD, depression or other mental health problems. However, Jenelle's rep denies to Us Weekly that they are under investigation.
