AceShowbiz - Filmmaker Spike Jonze was at the centre of a police stand-off on Tuesday morning, April 30 after he confronted a knife-wielding intruder in his home.
The drama began at just after 6 A.M. at the director's Los Feliz pad in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ sources, Jonze was able to get out of the house and call the cops.
They arrived and spent several hours convincing the intruder to drop the knife and come out, which he did just before 11 A.M. local time.
It's unclear if the man has any links to the "Where the Wild Things Are" director.
