When met at the 2019 CinemaCon Awards, the 'Long Shot' star claims that she has 'made it very clear' that she is ready to find love again after splitting from Sean Penn in 2015.

AceShowbiz - Charlize Theron has urged potential suitors to "grow a pair and step up", after admitting she's ready to find love.

The 43-year-old actress attended the 2019 CinemaCon Awards at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Thursday night (April 05), and opened up about her love life, or lack thereof, in a chat with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet.

"I've been single for 10 years, it's not a long shot. Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up," she laughed. "I'm shockingly available."

Seth Rogen, who stars alongside Charlize in upcoming movie "Long Shot (2019)", chimed in and commented that Charlize was "out there", to which the South African-born screen star replied: "I've made it very clear!".

It's actually been less than 10 years since Charlize was in a relationship. She was engaged to Sean Penn but the pair split in 2015. Prior to that, the stunning brunette was in a long-term relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townsend from 2002 to 2010.

The actress found her love life hit headlines earlier this year when rumours began swirling that she was dating Brad Pitt, with insiders saying the pair had grown close after shooting an advert for watch company Breitling.

However, a source told People that the duo was never romantically involved, adding: "They have not been out together recently, and were never dating."

Mother-of-two Charlize is clearly pulling out all the stops to attract a new man, and looked stunning at the CinemaCon Awards in a figure-hugging Alexander McQueen dress.

And while she may not have found her perfect date at the event, she did go home with a new addition - after she and Seth were awarded the Comedy Stars of the Year gong from the National Association of Theater Owners.
