Prior to the decision day, the four couples in season 8 of the Lifetime show have to spend the night apart for a better time to think what they need to do with their marriages.

AceShowbiz - The big day was here. "Married at First Sight" season 8 aired the decision day on April 2, featuring the four couples revealing their final decision on their marriage after living together for 8 weeks. Prior to the decision day, the couples had to spend the night apart so that they had a better time to think what they needed to do with their marriages.

Despite AJ's anger management issues, AJ and Stephanie chose to stay married. "Seven weeks ago, I got to say, 'I do,' to 'Married at First Sight' without knowing my wife. Today, I get to say, 'I do,' to the person who is my wife now that I know her. And I couldn't be more happy about that," he announced. "I choose to stay married to you for the rest of my life."

"I can't imagine what life would be like without him. I love him," Stephanie added.

Prior to this, AJ said in a confessional, "If this doesn't work out in my favor, I would be devastated, because I don't want to go back to eating dinner alone. But nothing in life is guaranteed, except death."

Meanwhile, Luke and Kate seemingly agreed that they were meant to be with each other in the first place. Their marriage was full of constant arguments with them ending up hurting each others' feelings.

When Dr. Pepper asked if Luke and Kate had sex in their relationship and if there was no attraction, Luke replied, "Let's skip that one." Kate added, "I think he is doing it because he knows I want to. But I just don't think he's that into me."

"I'm not sure if this could get to a point where we’d both have what we need in a marriage," Kate said. "I think it would be best for us to go our separate ways."

Luke echoed the sentiment, adding, "I do feel like overall, it's not healthy to be so emotionally drained all the time. I feel like we should get a divorce."

As for Keith and Kristine, they decided to stay together. They finally admitted that they were in love with each other. "You bring the best out of me and I'm evolving to a greater person," Keith gushed. "I really can say that 'I love you.' "

"I feel like if you keep pushing me and lighting that fire under me, I'll be amazing one day. So, I'm going to say, 'I do,' again to Kristine. I want to stay with Kristine," he added. Kristine was on the same page with him as saying, "We started something great together and I think it's done nothing but blossom since the day we met. I feel like we can continue to create something great."

After the sweet confession, Kristine was speechless and started to cry. They later shared a kiss with Keith saying, "I want to be with her forever."

The last couple, Will and Jasmine, was indecisive at the beginning. Will noted that the best part of the marriage was the fact that he became best friends with Jasmine. However, Jasmine felt that they had "emotional connection issues," which led to the lack of "a sexual connection."

"It takes time to grow and truly learn about someone," Jasmine told the experts. "I do want to stay married to Will because I think because of this process, we haven't really been able to grow together."

"I agree with her. We could benefit from longer time to grow and get to know each other. I guess my biggest concern or issue is just the communication," Will revealed. "So I guess unfortunately I would say I want a divorce."

Upon hearing that, Jasmine broke down in tears. "I think that I failed," Jasmine said while crying. "That makes me sad because I don't know what else I could have done."

"I am definitely disappointed because I think Will had a timeline on our marriage. I think it was a seven-week countdown for Will, and if his needs weren't meant in every way in that seven weeks, that he would have chosen to get a divorce. I feel it's a little selfish on his part and it's upsetting," Jasmine said in a confessional.

"Married at First Sight" season 8 will air its finale on April 9 at 9 P.M. on Lifetime, offering the updates on the successful couples as well as Kate, Luke, Will and Jasmine following the decision day.
