The 26-year-old MTV star takes to Instagram Live to give fans an update on 6-year-old Adalynn Faith's condition.

AceShowbiz - Leah Messer has given an update on her daughter Adalynn Faith's condition following her hospitalization earlier this month. Taking to Instagram Live, the "Teen Mom 2" star said that her youngest daughter is doing "much better" now. Thank goodness!

During the live-streaming session, Leah noted that Adalynn still had "swollen lymph nodes" and was put on antibiotics for a couple of weeks. Fortunately, "the swelling is going down," according to the MTV star. She added, "Now we're just going to get more blood work... It's been crazy, but thankfully, she's getting much better."

Leah also credited the six-year-old girl's optimism for her fast recovery. "Addie never lost her spirit," she said. "She was still so funny. The doctor in the ER was like, 'Man, she has such a personality to be six years old, and I was like, 'Oh, you haven't seen nothing yet.' … She definitely proved me right by talking and laughing and goofing off in the ER."

Seeing how Adalynn could still make people laugh despite her illness, Leah couldn't help but think that the little girl would make a great entertainer. "Addie needs her own show," the 26-year-old said. "She is quite the entertainer."

Leah broke the news of Adalynn's hospitalization on March 14, sharing on Instagram a series of pictures of the girl laying down on hospital bed. She could be seen flashing a playful grin before making a silly face as her body was wrapped in a blanket. The mother of three wrote in the caption, "Even though she's sick she was making everyone laugh in the ER. WHAT. A. DAY. Keep our girl in your prayers."

Adalynn's father, Jeremy Calvert, also rushed to hospital soon after he learned about her hospitalization. Sharing on the social media site a picture of him snuggling to Adalynn, he captioned it, "Hospital with this little one all day. I hope my baby girl starts feeling better."
