The cremation ceremony for the late creative director of Chanel takes place in Nanterre, near Paris, three days after he passed away at the age of 85.

AceShowbiz - Late fashion pioneer Karl Lagerfeld was cremated at a ceremony in France on Friday, February 22, with mourners including Anna Wintour and Princess Caroline of Monaco.
The longtime creative director of Chanel passed away on Tuesday, February 19, aged 85, following a rumoured battle with pancreatic cancer.
In a number of interviews prior to his death, the German designer expressed his desire to be cremated without a big funeral, and a spokesperson for his eponymous line confirmed to the AFP on Wednesday that his wishes "will be respected".
The cremation took place in Nanterre, near Paris, on Friday, with a group of guests in attendance to bid a final farewell to Lagerfeld.
Longtime friends Wintour, the editor-in-chief of U.S. Vogue, and her former French counterpart Carine Roitfeld were among the attendees, as well as European royals Princess Caroline and her daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, and model Brad Kroenig.
Lagerfeld's beloved cat, Choupette, was also taken to the memorial.
