Casey Aldridge, who shares 10-year-old Maddie with the former 'Zoey 101' star, got in trouble with the police on February 12 after being found unconscious behind the wheel of his car in Mississippi.

AceShowbiz - The father of Jamie Lynn Spears' eldest child has vowed to conquer his substance abuse issues once and for all following a recent arrest for drug possession.
The singer/actress' ex-fiance, Casey Aldridge, was taken in to custody by police officers in Mississippi on 12 February, after he was found unconscious, behind the wheel of his car, by the side of a road.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and subsequently booked for possession of prescription pills Oxycodone, lorazepam and Xanax.
The 29-year-old has now expressed his shame over the incident, promising to clean up his act.
"I'm going to do everything in my power to better myself and not have to go through situations like this and make sure it never happens again," he told Us Weekly.
Aldridge also confessed the arrest took place after "a long night," and admitted his drug use had "been an issue for a while."
He shares custody of 10-year-old daughter Maddie with Jamie Lynn, who gave birth when she was 16.
The couple split in 2010.
Aldridge is also dad to a four-year-old girl named Skylar, with his ex-wife April Watson.
