Justice James Burke and the prosecutors have agreed to give the disgraced producer's new legal team additional time to prepare for the legal proceeding initially scheduled to begin in May.

AceShowbiz - Harvey Weinstein will have to wait for his day in court - his sex assault trial has been pushed back a month.
The showdown was scheduled to begin in May, but Justice James Burke and the prosecutors have agreed to a new start date - 3 June, according to the New York Post, after the disgraced movie mogul's attorneys requested additional time.
Weinstein has replaced top criminal defence lawyer Ben Brafman since he last appeared in court last month, after the legal eagle withdrew from the case. And his new team - Jose Baez, Ronald Sullivan and Duncan Levin - have asked for a delay.
Baez and Sullivan will start a 10-week trial in Brooklyn federal court later this week, February 19, and they need more time to prepare.
Ironically, both men represented Rose McGowan, one of Weinstein's sex abuse accusers, in her drug possession case last year.
The actress claimed the producer had planted the drugs in 2017.
Weinstein will face charges he forcibly performed oral sex on production assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006 and raped another woman a hotel in 2013.
He has been accused of harassing and abusing over 80 women, but the producer maintains he has never had non-consensual sex.
