Stopping by 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Isn't It Romantic' star opens up about the time she had to be medically rescued during a winter holiday where she also partied with Mariah Carey.

AceShowbiz - Rebel Wilson will be thinking twice before she heads out on the ski slopes again after an embarrassing mountain rescue in Aspen, Colorado over the holidays.

The "Pitch Perfect" star needed assistance when she found herself stranded during a skiing lesson.

During a recently taped appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", Rebel revealed she lost her nerve when her instructor told her to finish the lesson by skiing down a mountain.

"I skied for about 100 feet and he (instructor) was like, 'OK, you just have to ski down now', and I was like, 'Aww, I don't know...' I said, 'Can I just get the chairlift back...? That seems pretty fun'."

Wilson refused to budge and as the chill set it, a ski patrol official had to be called to get her to safety.

"This lovely gentleman, Scott, came and rescued me in a sled but he said in order to get enough speed to get to the bottom, we have to go off the side of a cliff," the actress explains. "So that ended up being more scary than actually skiing. I was freaking out. I lost my poles, I lost my s**t going down on this little sled."

But the winter break wasn't all bad - Rebel joined Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn to ring in 2019 and she had a club night out with Aspen regular Mariah Carey.

"She's such an awesome lady," the actress says. "Inside the club they started playing her songs just because she was in there."
