"Walk This Way", "Full Moon Fever" and Jackson Browne's self-titled debut album are among the recordings that make up the Class of 2019, according to a Recording Academy press release.

The records have been selected for their "qualitative or historical significance".

The Academy is also honouring songs by Leonard Cohen ("Hallelujah"), The Troggs ("Wild Thing"), Link Wray & His Ray Men ("Rumble"), Dolly Parton ("Coat of Many Colors"), and Brenda Lee ("Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"), while the oldest recording recognised this year is baseball anthem "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", which was released by Edward Meeker With the Edison Orchestra in 1908.

Petty's 1989 album "Full Moon Fever" is the most recent record on the list.
