In a new interview, the 'Fine China' rapper states that he doesn't hate the 30-year-old athlete nor have anything against him.

AceShowbiz - Before the internet gets even more convinced that Future is not down with Ciara and Russell Wilson's relationship, the rapper has set the record straight. After publicly calling out the athlete over his marriage with the "Level Up" singer, Future insisted in a recent interview that he had no bad blood with Russell.

Clarifying the comment he made, the Atlanta native said during his appearance on the Durtty Boyz radio show, "We don't have no problems. It's a social media problem. No, I don't hate him. Totally not the deal. It was just the way we were carrying it, as far as being handled with Baby Future."

Further proving his point, the "Fine China" rapper added, "I don't have anything against him and I'm happy for them."

Last week, Future blasted Russell for doing exactly what Ciara "tell him to do." He said at the time, "He not being a man in that position," adding how he believed the Seattle Seahawks quarterback was too easygoing when it came to Ciara's past relationships. Future even compared it to the time when he and Ciara were still dating.

"You not tellin' her, 'Bro, chill out with that on the internet. Don't even talk to him. I'm your husband! You better not even bring Future's name up!" he continued. "If that was me, she couldn't even bring his name up. She'd know that. She couldn't even bring her exes' name up. Don't give that s**t no energy. It's about me. I'm taking care of everything."

Ciara and Russell seemingly responded to his shade with their own Instagram posts. While the "1, 2 Step" singer wrote, "Rise Above," alongside a photo of herself, Russell captioned a photo of Future Zahir and Sienna Princess, "All that matters. #Love."

Ciara and Russell got married in July 2016, two years after she called off her engagement to Future, with whom she shares a son, Future Zahir, together. Meanwhile, she and the NFL star have a daughter named Sienna Princess.
