Many are speculating that the 'Starboy' hitmaker is taking shots at his fellow Canadian star for hiding his secret love child, Adonis Graham.

AceShowbiz - Is this the first beef of 2019? The Weeknd recently released his collaboration with French producer Gesaffelstein entitled "Lost in the Fire", which led many people to speculate that the crooner might be sneak-dissing his fellow Canadian musician Drake due to one of its lyrics.
The particular lines that leave many people wondering are placed on the first verse, where The Weeknd is singing about finding the right one to have a baby with. "And I just want a baby with the right one/ 'Cause I could never be the one to hide one," the "Starboy" hitmaker sings. As you might already know, Drake was hiding his secret love child, Adonis Graham, until Pusha T exposed the secret to the world on his infamous "The Story of Adidon".
"The Weeknd dissing Drake on his new record? Y'all know I love chaos," one convinced fan tweeted. Alongside a GIF of SpongeBob SquarePants blowing off fire, another said, "OVOXO fans listening to The Weeknd dragging Drake for his secret in Lost in the Fire."

One individual, meanwhile, was convinced that there wouldn't be a Drake collaboration on The Weeknd's new album due to the sneak diss. Someone else stated, "He just saying he don't wanna be in situation where he's hiding because of shame."

It's yet to be seen whether The Weeknd is really shading the "God's Plan" hitmaker on the song.
"Lost in the Fire" will be included on Gesaffelstein's upcoming sophomore album "Hyperion", which is expected to arrive in the upcoming months. Marking the two musicians' third collaboration, the song will get a music video treatment soon as they have previously shared its 11-second teaser. It's unknown, though, when the full version of the clip will be released.
The Weeknd is currently working on his forthcoming album "Chapter 6". He confirms the album during a Toronto show last September, saying, "I want you guys to be the first to know that I'm working on my new album right now. 'Chapter 6' is coming soon."
