The former 'The View' co-host begs fans to lend her some money as she can't call Uber or Lyft to take her back to Hollywood from Orange County.

AceShowbiz - Sherri Shepherd was stranded on Christmas. The actress/comedian revealed on Instagram that she was stuck in Orange County after taking her son Jeffrey to her ex's house. Feeling hopeless, she posted a bizarre video on the social media site asking fans for help to get her back to Hollywood.

"Sometimes stuff sucks," the former "The View" host said in the video. "I had to drop Jeffrey off at his dad's in Orange County. I live close to Hollywood. I am stranded because my phone has no service to call Uber or Lyft. It won't connect. I'm stuck out here by myself."

Sherri said she couldn't contact her friends because they're celebrating Christmas. "I can't get in touch with any of my friends because they're out celebrating," she added. "Jesus, I'm stranded! I need somebody to call me an Uber."

"I'm asking if you can loan me some money," the 51-year-old actress/comedian begged, claiming she had no cash and only had credit cards. "It's probably going to be 50 bucks to get me back from Hollywood to Orange County."

In the caption of the video, she tagged some of her famous friends such as Niecy Nash, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart in hopes that they would notice and help her. "You don't realize how dark and cold it is until you are stranded!" she wrote.

A few hours later, she finally made it back to Hollywood safely. Giving an update on her situation, she said that she was serving food to the homeless at The World Famous Laugh Factory Comedy Club. She thanked her friends and her fans for offering to help her. "Merry Christmas!" she said at the end of the video.

Sherri also shared pictures from her Christmas celebration with her son and friends at Niecy Nash's place. They had a pajamas brunch party, during which they also unveiled some presents.

Niecy was dressed in a red Santa-inspired suit, complete with the hat. Sherri wore a pink "Cuddle" sweater while her son wore a matching green sweater.
