The 'Sherri' host opens up about the 'menopause before the menopause' on her television talk show, sharing the surprising realities of her symptoms and struggles.

AceShowbiz - Sherri Shepherd provided a candid look into her perimenopause journey on the March 27 episode of her eponymous talk show. Describing it as "the menopause before the menopause," the talk show host detailed her experiences with the often confusing and surprising symptoms.

Shepherd told her executive producer Jawn Murray she felt "heated and defeated" due to the onset of hot flashes, yet she could still get pregnant. "My anatomy is still playing tricks on me," she lamented.

She dished on her symptoms, pointing out how chin hairs and dental issues were adding to her frustrations. "I lost my Queen Latootha," she quipped, humorously adding that she would be "nothing but gums" by the time menopause fully arrived.

Reiterating the ongoing changes in her body, Shepherd was shocked by the fact that she could still be fertile. "Don't let the age fool [you], 'cause you can still get pregnant," she warned her female viewers, before jokingly addressing her date about a potential pregnancy scare, "Get ready sir. I might be calling you soon. We may need to talk."
