AceShowbiz - G-Dragon is no longer the Korean king of Instagram. The 30-year-old leader of Big Bang has to abdicate the throne as the most-followed Korean star on the social media site to Chanyeol of EXO after the latter surpassed his follower count on Thursday morning, December 27.

As of 7:40 A.M. local time, the "So I Married an Anti-Fan" star had exactly 16.164,403 followers on Instagram, while G-Dragon came in close with 16,159,217 followers. Chanyeol had been trailing behind the "Crooked" hitmaker for some time. He had been the most-followed Korean celebrity since 2014.
