Addressing the shade that he throws to the model on his new album, the rapper insists that she isn't mad at him.

AceShowbiz - Rapper 21 Savage is on good terms with his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, insisting she is the "coolest person ever".

The couple dated for eight months until March, and appeared to reconcile briefly in May, when the model and media personality shared a love letter to the 26-year-old online.

Amber, 35, was subsequently linked to basketball player Monte Morris over the summer, but Savage, real name Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, reveals they remain friends.

He was quizzed about his ex during a recent interview on New York radio show The Breakfast Club, on which he was asked if "Ball w/o (without) You", from his new album "i am > i was", is about Amber as the track details issues with a loved one.

"It ain't about her, it's about relationships (sic)," Savage explained. "I ain't gon' lie, it ain't about her but certain s**t that I'm saying, me and her had them discussions. Like, I done talked to her when we were together, like, 'F**k your love Amber. I don't want your love, I want your loyalty.' That's where that (line) came from, but it ain't just about her (sic)."

Despite airing out some of their relationship problems on song, Savage insists Amber isn't mad at him.

"Look, Amber heard the song before it came out and she liked the song," he claimed. "On God, me and Amber cool as a motherf**ker (sic)."

"Amber my dawg (sic). She the coolest person ever (sic)," he added.

Rose, who was previously married to Wiz Khalifa, the father of her five-year-old son Sebastian, has yet to respond to Savage's radio remarks.
