The 55-year-old reality TV star, who left the show in 2011, is set to return for the upcoming season 9 and 10 of the Bravo reality show.

AceShowbiz - Guess who's back for the new seasons of "The Real Housewives of New York City"? Jill Zarin is set to return for the upcoming season 9 and 10 of the Bravo reality show after taking a 7-year break. Are you excited?

A source reveals to HollywoodLife.com that the 55-year-old reality TV star, who is set to make guest apparances in the new seasons, "has been busy filming with the ladies of 'RHONY'." Although she shouldn't have felt unfamiliar with the show, the source shares that Jill can't help but feel nervous about the comeback.

"She's feeling nervous about making her return because she hasn't been on the show in quite some time and a lot has changed since her departure," adds the source.

"She will be back in a part-time role to start," details the source. "She hasn't filmed with the ladies in quite some time, so even though she’s friends with several of them off-camera, it's a different dynamic when part of the cast again. Jill felt it was best to come back part-time and see how it goes."

"She's really missed the show and is feeling excited to re-join the cast," the source continues saying. "So far, things are going good and she’d like to be filming more and it looks like she will."

Jill was let go from the show after drunk-emailing "RHONY" crew back in 2011. "This is really the truth: One night…I think I took a sleeping pill and I typed out an email to my [‘Real Housewives’] producer and three out of the five housewives," she explained to Oprah Winfrey at that time. "I said, 'I'm leaving the show. I want to leave on a high. I'm in a good place right now.' "

Despite her exit in season 4, Jill mantains her friendship with "RHONY" cast pretty well. That's proven with the majority of the cast members attending the funeral of Bobby Zarin, whom she married to for 18 years, in January. Among those who showed up to the service in New York City’s Riverside Memorial Chapel were Bethenny Frankel, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer. Former cast members Aviva Drescher and Kelly Killoren Bensimon were also there.
