Less than a week after being hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, the pregnant 'I Feel Pretty' actress informs her followers that she is making a return to the stage.

AceShowbiz - Pregnant Amy Schumer is back to work after her recent hospitalisation.

The comedienne issued an apology to fans after she was forced to cancel a show in Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday, November 14 and explained that she was battling extreme morning sickness, known as hyperemesis gravidarum.

Amy, who is expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer, is now on the mend, and announced on Friday she would be back to work for her gigs this weekend.

"I will be doing my shows tomorrow and Sunday! Also, F**K BETSY DeVos. Like for real. Are you kidding me?!" the "Trainwreck" actress wrote, alongside a photo of her dog, Tati.

Her post refers to U.S. education secretary Betsy DeVos, who has proposed a major overhaul of the way officials at colleges and universities handle complaints of sexual misconduct.

And in her apologetic post on Thursday, Amy managed to crack a joke about her pregnancy nausea.

"I'm fine. Baby's fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story," she joked. "I've been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls**t!".

The "I Feel Pretty" star had previously confessed she was finding pregnancy difficult, and told reporters at People: "I don't like it. I've had a really tough pregnancy so far".

Despite her mixed feelings about first-time motherhood, she recently posted a sweet video of herself responding to seeing her baby kick on a sonogram.

"Oh my God, it's moving all around," the 37-year-old exclaimed. "Oh my God. See, it has so much energy, that's why I'm puking every day. Oh my God."
