AceShowbiz - Coldplay wanted to make their first performance at the AMAs in seven years one to remember, so they brought along some special friends onstage. Chris Martin sang "Adventure of a Lifetime" while jumping around along with hallucinogenic projections behind him.
Towards the end of their rendition, he was joined by a group of dancers in gorilla costumes, which confused some as it had nothing to do with the song's theme and lyrics. Further supporting the euphoric atmosphere, gigantic balloons were thrown around the audience.
