The 'Action' actress recalls on 'The View' her alleged experience of being sexually assaulted by the former CBS boss in 1997.

AceShowbiz - Actress Illeana Douglas has opened up about the terror she experienced when former CBS boss Les Moonves allegedly attacked her.

Moonves came under attack in July when six women, including Douglas, writer Janet Jones, and "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" producer Christine Peters, detailed reported incidents of sexual misconduct against him, dating from the 1980s to this century, in The New Yorker.

Last month, he was hit with a fresh wave of allegations, as six more women came forward to accuse him of sexual assault and harassment, and this time the alleged incidents, which also reportedly took place between the 1980s and early 2000s.

Moonves has since resigned from the network, and on Tuesday, October 02, Douglas opened up about her alleged experience with the former TV boss, which reportedly took place during a 1997 meeting.

"He started asking me a lot of personal questions and I was stumbling and fumbling and not really knowing what to say and then, of course, led to him jumping on top of me and putting his tongue down my throat, pinning me down on the couch...," she said on TV talk show "The View" on Tuesday, October 2.

"Once he sort of saw I wasn't participating, he stopped and I just wanted to get, you know, out of the room... just being on autopilot," she added. "He said, 'We're just going to keep this between you and me, right? We're not going to tell anybody about this.' "

Moonves has previously acknowledged he attempted to kiss Douglas, but "denies any characterization of sexual assault, intimidation, or retaliatory action".

However, Douglas does believe he tried to hinder her career.

"(I have) only worked at CBS two times," she added.
