His wife Janet Holden attends the ceremony too, but she seemingly doesn't mind as she knows that it is a mere playful gesture.

AceShowbiz - Eric McCormack was awarded with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, September 13. At the unveiling ceremony, the Canadian actor was supported by his wife Janet Holden and their son Finnigan. The cast of "Will & Grace" is also there to help him celebrate the milestone.

During his speech at the Hollywood Blvd, Eric expressed his gratefulness to the LGBTQ community for accepting him as gay lawyer Will Turman on the comedy show. "The only reason I am here today is because 20 years ago Max Mutchnick and David Kohan trusted me with the role of a lifetime. NBC trusted me," he said.

"And eventually a whole community, the LGBTQ community, trsuted me with their story and I am so grateful for the rest of my life," he continued, before thanking his co-stars Megan Mullally, Sean Hayes and Debra Messing. He also thanked his wife by saying, "This is a tribute to our journey from the moment we met, through to Los Angeles, through to this day. This is ours."

Eric then proceeded to pose with his star, getting playful with Debra when it was her turn to take pictures with the honoree. They were photographed locking lips. His wife seemingly didn't mind it as she fully knew that it was a mere playful gesture.
