AceShowbiz - After taking a break from the spotlight for a while, Black Eyed Peas is finally back with a new single. The now three-piece band released "Big Love" on Wednesday, September 12 as well as announced that they would be releasing a new album called "Masters of the Sun", their first album in eight years and since Fergie's (Stacy Ferguson) exit from the group.

The song itself features the band's signature pop-rap song and tackles a lot of political issues including gun violence and police brutality. "It's time for rights, and please no more violence/ Talk with kindness, together we're united," raps. "When we are one/ Nothing can divide us."

While "Big Love" marks their first single in ten years, the group has previously released tracks "Ring the Alarm" and "Constant Part 1 and 2". Proceeds from "Big Love" will go toward March for Our Lives as well as Families Belong Together Foundation.

"Masters of the Sun" is scheduled to hit the shelves on October 12. Back in May, said that the upcoming album would focus on their philanthropic efforts. "We have a different laboratory on this one, and audio scientists and activists, philanthropists, and all this music that we're doing right now reflects that side, the philanthrophy side of who we are as people and the independent route in a way," he said.

"So ap will speak on the school that he got in the Philippines, he got a bunch of schools in the Philippines," he continued. "I got an after school program here in East Los Angeles, where we teach out kids science, technology. And Taboo is with the Native community and the American Cancer Society, just trying to address the issues and add to the community."

In support of the new album, Black Eyed Peas will embark on a European tour. The trek will kick off on October 27 in London and running through November 18 in Germany.
