The 17-year-old Disney star will be showing his fancy footwork alongside professional dancer Witney Carson.

AceShowbiz - Disney star Milo Manheim is heading to the TV ballroom to compete on U.S. reality show "Dancing with the Stars".

The "Zombies (2018)" star, whose mother is "The Practice" actress Camryn Manheim, has been paired with professional dancer Witney Carson for the series, in which celebrities show off their fancy footwork in a bid to claim the mirrorball trophy.

He is only the second famous face confirmed for the upcoming season 27, joining former "The Facts of Life" star Nancy McKeon, while R&B singer Tinashe and Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch are also rumoured to be part of the line-up.

At 17, Milo is expected to be the youngest member of the new cast, and he admits he's got his work cut out for him.

"Once we started getting going, it was nothing like I ever imagined," he told breakfast show "Good Morning America" of his first training sessions with Witney. "It's so much more difficult than I thought it would be.

"I'll be dancing with her and thinking I'm doing a really good job, and then I'll look back at the video and I just look terrible!".

The remaining contestants will be announced on Wednesday, September 12, before the new batch of stars pull on their dancing shoes for the season premiere on 24 September.

Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon and his professional partner Jenna Johnson claimed victory in the last season, which wrapped in May.
