AceShowbiz - One wedding ceremony apparently is not enough for Ryan Lochte and his wife Kayla Rae Reid. Nine months after tying the knot, the Olympic swimmer and the former Playboy model held an intimate, outdoor wedding at Morrow Ranch in Palm Springs, California on Sunday, September 9.

According to PEOPLE, the married couple exchanged vows in front of 100 of their closest friends and family. Their 15-month-old son, Caiden Zane, served as the ring bearer during the ceremony, where guests were treated to tequila poured into custom shot glasses. As for the decor, they opted for a romantic vibe with cappuccino, sunset and white roses as well crystals and "lots of candles."

When asked why they decided to hold another wedding ceremony, the couple answered that they wanted Caiden to have a bigger role in the ceremony. "We wanted Caiden to be old enough to walk down the aisle. One of our visions was to have him be able to be the ring bearer, so it's perfect time!" Reid said.

Just like any other bachelor and bachelorette, both Lochte and Reid held their own parties ahead of the ceremony. While the latter went to Miami to take Barry's Bootcamp workout class along with her friends, Lochte partied with his friends at Hakkasan Las Vegas inside MGM Grand Hotel. An onlooker told E! News that the athlete spend the night listening and dancing to Steve Aoki's songs.

Lochte and Reid first exchanged vows in a courthouse wedding ceremony in Gainesville, Florida back in January. According to the marriage license, Lochte's father was a witness to the nuptials. The 6-time Gold medalist picked up his marriage paperwork a week before the wedding and sources revealed at the time that "marriage is imminent."

The couple first started dating in 2016 after being introduced by mutual friends. They got engaged in October of the same year.
