AceShowbiz - BTS (Bangtan Boys) has once again proved how popular they are around the world. Fans of the seven-piece group in the United States are apparently so excited to attend their concert that tickets for the group's first stadium tour in the country sold out within minutes.
About 40,000 seats were made available for the Citi Field concert, and tickets went on sale on August 17 at 4 P.M. ET. Though the exact time tickets became unavailable has not yet been confirmed, one hour after the ticketing opened, Citi Field's officials announced on Twitter that tickets were sold out.
"Thank you, #BTSArmy!" they wrote on the micro-blogging site. "Due to overwhelming demand, tickets are no longer available for the @bts_bighit show at this time. We hope to see you on Oct. 6th." According to fans, the tickets were sold out within 15 minutes. It was also said that officials ended up opening extra sections due to the incredible demand, but it was also sold out fast.

BTS is set to perform at the City Field in New York City on October 6, becoming the first Korean artist to perform a stadium tour in the United States. It will also be the largest concert ever by a Korean act in the country. The show is a part of the group's "Love Yourself" tour.
RM (Rap Monster) and the rest of the boys will kick off the tour in Seoul on August 25 and 26 before flying to 16 cities around the world. The North American leg itself will launch on September 5 in Los Angeles and include stop in cities such as Chicago and Forth Worth.
They first teased their world tour while speaking to Entertainment Tonight in November 2017. "We will visit more cities, and I think we will definitely be like, adding more stages," RM said at the time. "I don't know the particular time of when we will be coming back [to the U.S.] but it will definitely be doper and bigger."
